Personal brand site + bookings

Gina McKie

A one-page site for a Glasgow broadcaster, built to answer two questions: when is she on, and how do I book her?

The Gina McKie home page, with the studio portrait, the site's booking call to action and a next-on-air panel showing the following show.

The project

One clear experience, built around the job

Gina's career runs on two tracks—a broadcast schedule across two stations, and live hosting for events across the UK. A listener and an event organiser want completely different things from the same site, so the page gives each of them a direct route without making either scroll through the other's half.

What the build had to do

  • Answer “when is she on?” in the hero, with a next-on-air line worked out from the weekly schedule rather than typed in by hand.
  • Carry a full week across two stations, Go Radio and Virgin Radio 80s, with a direct route into each station's player.
  • Give live event hosting equal billing, so an organiser arrives at a booking case and not a fan page.
  • Gather the details a booking actually needs—event type, date, venue—in the enquiry form itself, and keep spam out without a CAPTCHA.

Delivered outcome

A live site that tells a listener where to hear Gina this week and hands an event organiser a booking route with the useful details already gathered.

In their words

Spark completely transformed my online presence. They took my vision and elevated it into a website that feels unmistakably me—elegant, warm, and easy to navigate.
