Your information, handled plainly
This notice explains what Spark collects through this website, why it is needed and the choices you have. Last updated 23 August 2026.
Who is responsible
Spark is responsible for information you choose to send when you contact us. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@sparkglasgow.co.uk.
What we collect
This website does not collect or store the contents of a contact form. When you email Spark, we receive the contact and project details you choose to include through your email provider and ours. The hosting platform also creates limited technical logs, such as request time, route and error information, to keep the site secure and diagnose failures.
Why we use it
Enquiry information is used to respond, arrange a discovery call, prepare a proposal and take steps you request before a contract. Technical logs are used for security, reliability and abuse prevention. We do not sell personal information or use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.
Hosting and measurement
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes requests on Spark's behalf. Cloudflare Web Analytics may be used to measure aggregate page visits and performance without cookies or cross-site tracking. The contents of emails sent to Spark are not sent to Cloudflare Web Analytics.
How long information is kept
Enquiries that do not become projects are normally deleted within 12 months of the last contact. If work goes ahead, relevant project and financial records may be kept longer where needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. Security logs are retained only for the period provided by the hosting service or needed to investigate an incident.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to its use. Email Spark to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
